Family Picture

Kara drew our family... Daddy on the left, Mommy on the right, Ben and Kara in the middle. Kara said that Mommy and Daddy don't need arms... but we all have shoes. Spoken like a true Higuchi! What a happy family!!

My New Suit

Kara loves being in the water and wants to put a suit on every chance she gets.

So she got the chance to get a new suit this year.... Daddy is not sure that he's ready for this two piece suit. What's next? We don't want to know.

Water fun

The kids got a water table and are having fun playing in the water, especially now that it's getting hot.



Ben enjoys pouring water from cup to cup or helping to fill our little pool with water.



So much fun!

Ballerina Kara

We signed Kara up for a beginning dance class and what she learned from her Daddy is that when participating in an activity, you must have all the necessary gear. Kara is excited about getting to see herself in a big mirror wearing her new outfit.





To my surprise, she chose the blue leotard.... but we got a pink one too. Something tells me it's a safe bet.

Ben...

It seems like Ben has really grown up... He's running around and has become much more independent. This morning we put him in an outfit and he went to his room, chose a different shirt and insisted that we change him. Ben's communicating a lot - his vocabulary includes up, down, milk, go, brush (when he frequently wants to brush his teeth), pee pee or poo poo (when he needs a diaper change), boom-boom (when he wants to hear Boom Boom Pow) and NO!!

The future looks bright....

Little Helpers

The kids enjoy cleaning... too bad they aren't a little taller and able to handle cleaning products without supervision.
