With a free Sunday and expected warm weather, we decided on an impromptu trip to the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. It was the first time Sho and the kids have seen the giant sequoia trees...
It feels like the pictures don't do justice for the size of the trees. And though Sho and I kept looking up...
Kara and Ben seemed to be fascinated by the caterpillars on the ground.
We drove futher up the mountain to check out Roaring River Falls and along the way Sho found lots of great fishing sites for future trips.
Jason was so patient, as he spent most of the day either in his carseat, Baby Bjorn or the stroller. He so much wants to walk and crawl and cruise!
With water so clean and clear, we couldn't resist putting our feet in the river. The kids asked that next time we bring our fishing rods and our swimsuits.
